The StarTech.com IEEE-1394 FireWire CardBus card allows High-Speed FireWire and iLink devices to be connected to any Windows 98 or 2000 Notebook PC. This allows the connection of high-speed devices like Digital Video camcorders, hard drives, digital still cameras, and other 1394 or iLink A/V peripherals. The card supports 100, 200, and 400 Mb/s transfer rates for compatibility with any Firewire device on the market. With the ability to connect up to 63 devices, this card offers plenty of room for future high-speed expansion.
